TOWIE: Frankie Essex slams Mario Falcone and Lucy Mecklenburgh’s “pathetic” relationship!

With the talking point of The Only Way Is Essex firmly centred on the on-off-on again relationship between Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone yet again, it would seem that some of their cast mates are getting a bit tired of them.

Frankie Essex, the older sister of show favourite Joey Essex, has reportedly slammed the turbulent couple, branding their relationship “pathetic”!

Lucy and Mario have been making headlines ever since they started seeing each other back in 2011.

First of all was the revelation that Lucy had cheated on Mario with her ex, and former co-star, Mark Wright. The pair briefly split up but soon got back together, however the road since has been anything but plain sailing.

Next it was Mario’s turn to raise trust issues as he was exposed for texting inappropriate messages to other girls behind Lucy’s back which, again, caused the pair to briefly split last year.

Since then girl after girl has come forward with allegations against Mario’s faithfulness, the most recent being by new Sugar Hut Hunnie, identical twin Amy Broadbent who confronted Lucy in the club toilets during the current series premier claiming that she had “done stuff” with Mario in Manchester last September.

This caused another brief split between Lucy and Mario, as well as a stream of bitter rants from the pair via social networking site Twitter about the authenticity of the show, which has resulted in them reportedly facing the sack (read original article here).

And, whilst it would seem that Mario and Lucy are sick of all the hype surrounding them, their co-star Frankie agrees.

Speaking exclusively to Entertainmentwise, Frankie explained: “I don’t really care [about them]. I think it’s boring now. I really do. I think their relationship is pathetic. It’s pointless.

“I’m not really bothered. I think it’s boring.”
