TOWIE: Mario Falcone returns to show during last night’s episode saying ‘I’ve got one person to sort things out with’

by Anna Howell

There was a surprise visitor to Joey Essex’ new clothes shop during last night’s The Only Way Is Essex in the form of Mario Falcone!

After a month of Twitter rants during which they accused producers and certain members of the cast of staging scenes and lying to dramatize their relationship, Maria Falcone and his on-off-on-again girlfriend, Lucy Mecklenburgh, seemed to vanish from our ITV2 screens.

Many believed that this meant that the endless speculation that the pair had either quit or been sacked from the hit ITV2 reality show was true, but it seems that may not be entirely the case.

Things got way out of hand when the pair were last seen on the show with both taking to social networking site, Twitter, to voice their opinions about the shows production, with Mario claiming that Coronation Street was more real than TOWIE. It also highlighted an argument that had been seen between Mario and his best friend, lil Chris, as being staged also, but that after what we saw on TV had played out, the once best friends had really fallen out over Lil Chris’ comments regarding his brother, Ben’s, statement about Mario cheating on Lucy.

And last night we can only assume it was Lil Chris that Mario meant when he turned up at Joey’s new shop, Fusey, saying how he was only back to sort something out with someone.

Speaking to new shop owner, Joey, Mario explained that he had taken Lucy away after all the controversy surrounding their comments but that he was back because: “I’ve got one person to sort things out with.”

Who and how remains unknown till Wednesday night’s instalment, but one thing we can be sure of is that, based on the cash register activity throughout Joey’s shop opening, we will soon be seeing a new generation of Joey Essex’ walking around looking like him as his new stock literally flew of the shelves, despite the fact that Joey short-changed his very first customer.

Elsewhere, Jasmine and Abi followed new Essex lads James and Daniel to the dog track where they pretended to bump into them by accident before arranging an official, less stalkerish, double date.

Chloe admitted to Lauren Pope that she needed to have it out with Sam Faiers after she made Joey cry on Mother’s Day and Bobby took his car, Bertie, to the scrap yard where we watched it get crushed and condensed in what can only be described as the most over the top and garish ceremony we have ever seen.

Find out who Mario needs to sort things with, and how, when TOWIE returns on Wednesday night at 10pm on ITV2/ ITV2 HD.
