TOWIE: Arg gives Mario cheating advice, Kirk apologises to Lauren and Jasmine has a tragic date with Arg!

by Anna Howell

Last night saw the latest instalment of the current series of The Only Way Is Essex, and what a cracker it was!

There were a few surprise friendships emerging during last night’s Essex visit, the first one being that of Lil Chris and Joey Essex.

The unlikely pair get their hair cut together and whilst sat side-by-side, Lil Chris opens up to the new clothes shop owner about his hang-ups with best friend Mario Falcone, and the tension their recent spat has caused amongst their circle of friends.

Mario himself is obviously feeling the strain of last week’s row too; as he chooses James ‘Arg’ Argent to turn to with regards to his recent cheating allegations (wouldn’t be our first choice for relationship advice to be fair!)

Arg, loving being the hero, dishes out advice to Mario with regards to his cheating ways, telling him: “I used to deny it and tell myself that I’d never done it.”

However, Mario is still insistent that he has done nothing wrong, saying: “It’s like being charged with murder without killing someone.”

Meanwhile Kirk Norcross continues taking his clothes off for the camera leaving only a flannel covering his dignity, whilst on the phone (not quite so dignified)!

Remember Jasmine? Remember her model wannabe brother? Well, he decides the best way to get noticed by Joey Essex when applying for a job at his new shop is to go dressed as him! Before the interview, however, he discussed tactics and lies to put on his CV with his sister (not the best idea in the world when being filmed for TV) where it is decided that under the hobbies section he should put going to the gym 24/7.

Despite his exaggerations, however, Danny looked pretty good for the job, especially as Diags admitted that he would pocket money if he found it in the shop – when will he learn!

Sam Faiers hosts a dinner party for jess Wright and Ricky Rayment, which Arg invites himself and Jasmine along to. Not much of a date, especially when he gets Jasmine to drive them there, but things get even worse for the Dean Martin wannabe when the subject over dinner turns to his past, and or present and future with ex, Gemma Collins.

Finally, Kirk man’s up over the whole Lauren Pope pregnancy scare situation and heads over to apologise. After admitting how wrong he had been the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant breaks down telling Lauren: “I would’ve loved a kid.”

Was that the spark of an old flame we just saw reignite?

Tune in at 10pm on Wednesday on ITV2/ITV2 HD to find out!
