Is THIS their baby? One Direction’s Liam Payne & Cheryl “ecstatic!”

by Lynn Rowlands

At last, the big secret is out; One Direction star Liam Payne and former X Factor judge Cheryl ARE expecting a baby!

And judging by the size of Cheryl’s baby bump – which she did nothing to hide during a Carol concert this week – she is set to give birth anytime now.

However, according to The Sun, though Cheryl and Liam have taken the decision not to make any public comment about their happy news, at the same time, they are not “trying to hide anything”.

A source said to be close to Cheryl said, “Cheryl has told close friends and family the very exciting news that she is expecting her first child

“She is absolutely ecstatic [but] she doesn’t want to speak publicly about it for a number of reasons…

“Particularly due to some of the battles she has gone through in her personal life in recent years.

“Obviously everyone wants to hear it come from her, but she is keeping quiet for now.”

But now that it’s finally been confirmed that Liam Payne and Cheryl are having a baby, then obviously the next thing their fans want to know is if the baby is a boy or a girl.

And while of course neither Cheryl nor Liam are going to comment on that – given that, as mentioned above, they’ve taken the conscious decision not to discuss the baby – it’s again The Sun that has put together a ‘mock-up’ picture of what Cheryl and Liam’s baby may look like.

With images on the publication’s website, the article states, “BIG brown eyes, dimples, a thatch of dark hair – is THIS what Cheryl and Liam Payne’s baby will look like?”

Well, whatever the baby looks like, you can pretty much guarantee that he or she will be one of THE cutest bubbies ever…

Because with parents as gorgeous as Cheryl and Liam Payne, the baby can’t be anything other than utterly gorgeous!

We can’t wait to see the first pictures of the baby, and really hope that Liam and Cheryl will share at least one or two with their fans online once he or she arrives.
