Little Mix - Shout Out To My Ex

Last weekend, Little Mix returned to The X Factor stage to perform their new single, Shout Out To My Ex, which is filled with not very subtle digs at Zayn Malik…

Zayn was of course formerly engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. However, within weeks of quitting One Direction in March 2015, he called time on their relationship and is now dating model Gigi Hadid.

When news of Perrie and Zayn’s breakup first hit, it was rumoured that he’d dumped the stunning blonde by text message. A claim he later denied…

However, as we reported yesterday, Perrie begs to differ, and has insisted that he did indeed inform her it was over by text. And that, Perrie said, left her “broken”.

Luckily though, Perrie Edwards had the full support of her Little Mix band mates Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall to help her through the upsetting breakup.

And even now, a year on, the girls continue to rally round Perrie…

But would they go so far as to mock Zayn Malik?

Well, maybe so because yesterday, the girls shared this online…

In response to the clip, one Little Mix fan tweeted, “JADE DOING ZAYN’S AUDITION DANCE LMAO IM DEAAAD.”

Another wrote, “The shade is real.”

Meanwhile, Little Mix were on Nick Grimshaw’s breakfast Radio 1 show yesterday, and while there, Jesy said of Perrie, “I just think she’s bloody beautiful and I think she deserves the world.”

Her comment came during discussion about Shout Out To My Ex, and after Jade remarked, “The song speaks for itself…

“Everyone’s got an ex and everyone’s got a bad one.”

So does she mean that Zayn Malik is a “bad one” then?

Well, we’ll have to draw our own conclusions won’t we?

What do you think of Shout Out To My Ex? Is it about Zayn Malik ditching Perrie Edwards?
