Niall Horan is revealing when One Direction will reunite… and it ain’t gonna be soon.
The One Direction star opened up about getting back together with his bandmates Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles in a new interview – and he pretty much confirmed that we’re in for a VERY long wait to see the boys making more music together.
Speaking about their hiatus, which began last year, the “This Town” singer hinted that it’s probably going to be a good few years for a reunion.
“It’s only been two years, or less than two years [since we took a break]. It’s like two years in my life,” he told The Irish Sun.
“I’m hoping to live a long life, so two years out of it is not a very long time neither is three or neither is four,” he continued, seemingly suggesting that it could be at least more than 4 years umtil the promised reunion – FOUR YEARS, guys.
But at least the reunion will be happening at some point in the future. He confirmed that even though we’re in for a bit of a wait, they will one day reunite as promised.
“We have to just wait until everyone’s ready to go again, we’ll go again,” said Niall. “It’d be nice to think that we stopped at a high point, it’d be nice to pick up from there.”
Niall isn’t the only one speaking about getting back together, either.
Last month, Liam Payne teased the reunion too abd pretty much confirmed it’s definitely happening.
“Yes, I think we will reunite at some point in the future,” he said during an interview with BuzzFeed in August. “We have to — I mean, we’ve got an album we haven’t even toured yet.”
