It’s all about to go down in EastEnders – and it seems poor Jane just can’t escape the wrath of the Beale kids.
After being forced into a wheelchair after Bobby Beale hit her in the back with a hockey stick, now Jane could be about to meet her end at the hands of Ian’s evil stepson Steven.
As fans saw in last night’s episode (August 29) Lauren finally convinced the troubled lad to tell Ian and Jane about his (imaginary) brain tumour.
However, over the next few episodes, Jane is set to make a startling discovery that could land her in serious trouble. And we mean SERIOUS trouble.
According to spoilers, she discovers that Steven has been lying to them all about his brain tumour diagnosis.
Not only that, but she’s also set to learn the truth about Max’s horrific plan to get revenge on the square after he was wrongly sent down for Lucy Beale’s murder.
She then confronts Max and demands he explains himself, only he sends his skivvy Steven in to do his dirty work.
That’s when he loses it with his step mum one again (he previously shot her which left her unable to have children) and starts what could be a deadly fire in the restaurant while trapping her inside.
Could this be the end for poor Jane?
But while the big bosses aren’t speaking about her future, we do know that Steven will be saying bye bye to the square soon – which could mean he somehow ends up in the fire.
In a statement issued to Metro earlier this month, they confirmed Aaron Sidwell (who plays him) is leaving the soap.
“Aaron is part of one of the big upcoming storylines and we can confirm, following dramatic scenes to be aired later this summer, he will be leaving the show,” they said. “We wish Aaron all the very best for the future.”
EastEnders airs on BBC One on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
