According to The Sun, Jonathan Wrather (Pierce Harris), John Mcardle (Ronnie Hale), Louise Marwood (Chrissie White) and Thomas Atkinson (Lachlan White) have all confirmed that they will be leaving the ITV soap in the coming months.

“There’s a real feeling of worry over the direction Emmerdale is taking,” added the insider.
Though Emmerdale bosses haven’t confirmed which actors will be leaving, Digital Spy reached out to the soap’s spokesperson who confirmed that they have a whole lot of drama lined up amid the speculation.
“We don’t like to spoil storylines for our viewers so won’t be confirming which characters will be leaving the programme,” a spokesperson said amid the departure rumours.
“As happens on long running dramas like Emmerdale, stories reach hugely dramatic cliffhangers and it sometimes means the departure of certain characters. However, we have some very dramatic and entertaining plots in the coming months which will keep everyone hooked,” they added.
