On Emmerdale TONIGHT: Pierce, Paddy & Rhona’s love triangle turns DEADLY?

by Lynn Rowlands

Tonight’s episode of Emmerdale will open – as each one will this week – with more flash-forward looks at a funeral taking place in the village…

We won’t find out until Friday who’s dead, and it could in fact be that there’s more than one fatality during the week of gripping ‘24’ style drama.

But tonight, the focus of the action is on Paddy, Rhona and Pierce and as you’ll see, Marlon gets dragged into the love triangle drama for no other reason than he’s Paddy’s best friend…

Things will take a turn for the sinister when, having had a row, Rhona heads off with Paddy and Marlon as they go on a camping trip with Leo.

But when Pierce calls Rhona, hoping to make amends for their earlier argument, fearing that he will be jealous if she tells him where she really is – and who she’s with – Rhona lies, and says she’s at home…

However, what she doesn’t know is that Pierce is at the house. So he of course knows Rhona is lying.

Of that, Zoe Henry, who of course plays Rhona, told ITV, “She’s having a nice time and getting a little bit drunk and starting to feel a bit better about things.

“He rings to apologise, which sort of jolts Rhona, but she apologises too. When he asks her where she is, rather than tell the truth and cause another argument, which she knows it would, she tells a little white lie and says, ‘I’m at home’.

“However, the audience will realise as the phone call is terminated, that Pierce is actually stood in Smithy cottage!

“I don’t imagine that will go down particularly well with Pierce…

“It just feels like this could ignite something really big!”

Could Pierce become a killer while in a jealous rage?

Or maybe Paddy could reveal a dark side that viewers have never seen before if confronted by his love rival?

Find out tonight, but for now, here’s a preview of what’s ahead…
