This evening, Natalie Gumede and her professional partner Artem Chigvintsev attempted to win over the public and the judges by performing their showdance to Steppin’ Out with my Baby by Christina Aguilera and Tony Bennett.
In her VT, Natalie said that she can’t believe she’s in the final and that she can’t wait to do the show dance. “There will be thrills and hopefully not too many spills,” she said. As if there wasn’t enough fire, Natalie is going to be pole dancing.
Last week, Natalie followed in the footsteps of Abbey by claiming the second perfect score of the series with 10s across the board for her Salsa. Craig said that he was upset because he “couldn’t find much wrong with it”. Bruno added that Natalie has a “wonderful sense of tease and flirtation”.
- Craig Revel Horwood: “WAW! Absolutely fabulous. That is a showdance and that was absolutely magnificent”
- Darcey Bussell: “FAB-U-LOUS! That piano, that tap dancing section. I loved it. I usually don’t like when you use a structure, but I loved it. It as a classy dance”.
- Len Goodman: “Eye-popping, jaw-dropping show number. I’m a British boy and we love an underdog but, we love justice more. If you’re not in that final three, justice has gone out of the window”.
- Bruno Tonioli: “From the incredible, flawless entrance. You combined the best of broadway with the best of hollywood and to spice it up, a little bit of burlesque. An absolute smash”.
Both Natalie & Artem received a combined score of 40 with a 10 from Craig, a 10 from Darcey, a 10 from Len and a 10 from Bruno.
Strictly Come Dancing continues this evening at 8:40pm with the all important result. Who will win this series?
