This evening, Abbey Clancy and her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec took to the dance floor for the second time this series.
The pair danced the Cha Cha to Jennifer Lopez’s Let’s Get Loud. Last week, Abbey received the highest score of the weekend with a huge 32. All four judges had nothing but praise for her “gorgeous” and “romantic” Waltz. Even Craig Revel Horwood had something nice to say…
This week, Abbey said in her VT: “It still feels like a weird dream. I can’t even remember doing it. To hear Len say it was the dance of the night was shocking to me as I was so nervous.
“I’m finding the Cha Cha more difficult than the Waltz, so we just have to focus”.
Bruno Tonioli said: “Don’t worry as there’s plenty to fancy about Miss Clancy. You look fab and you have a natural instinct for the dance. Be careful with your freehand, you throw it away so it doesn’t finish”.
Darcey Bussell added: “You can dance but you have to trust your partner and dance. You lose the focus when you come out of the hold. I can see there’s a slight nerve there, but relax and trust him”.
Len Goodman continued: “It was full of attitude and rhythm, you’re a good dancer!”
Craig Revel Horwood added: “I thought it lacked a bit of hip action, good isolation on your back bum rolls, but it was very enjoyable”.
Both Abbey & Aljaz received a combined score of 30 from the judges. It as a 7 from Craig Revel Horwood, a 7 from Darcey Bussell, a 8 from Len Goodman and finally, a 8 from Bruno Tonioli.
Following her second dance, Abbey said: “I messed loads of it up. I don’t know what I was doing!
