Another big name is being linked to the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
According to reports, former The Saturdays singer Mollie King will be strutting her stuff in the ballroom when the competition show returns to BBC One in September.
The Sun is reporting that the singer has allegedly already signed on the dotted line to get her dancing shoes on as producers are hoping that the stunning star will bring a little “sex appeal” to the show like model Daisy Lowe did last year.
“Mollie is all signed up and will be this year’s Strictly babe,” said a source.
And it sounds like those involved with the show are already expecting her to go far in the competition.
“She’s a talented performer because of all her experience with The Saturdays and her solo career,” continued the insider, “so she’s someone who is very likely to make it to the final rounds.”
The source also claimed to the newspaper that producers are hoping she’ll bring some famous faces to the audience week after week to show their support.
“She’s also very well connected and has a lot of celebrity friends who will attend filming each week,” they said.
Though Mollie nor the BBC have commented on the speculation, if King really has already signed up she’ll just be the latest The Saturdays star do so.
Rochelle Humes took part on the show during a Children in Need special back in 2010 and also appeared on a Christmas special in 2013.
The girls’ bandmate Frankie Bridge has also strutted her stuff in the ballroom and came in second place on the show in 2014.
