This evening, Abbey Clancy and Aljaz Skorjanec took to the dance floor for the fifth week to perform the Foxtrot to Olly Murs’ ‘Dear Darlin’. Last week the pair scored their best score to date – did they do the same tonight?
In her VT Abbey said she was so nervous last week, which is something that she has to work on. When she realises that her family are back home and watching, it puts her in a better mood.
Last week, Abbey & Aljaz scored a total of 35 points, putting them joint top of the leaderboard. Len said it was ‘Snap, Crackle and Pop’ whilst Craig cracked a smile and said it was A-MAZ-ING!!
Abbey was dressed in a beautiful tan and back dress on tonight’s show with lots of detailing – the wardrobe department always give their full attention to the dressed. The dance was slow and romantic and really suited Abbey!
- Len Goodman: “What I love is that you’re consistent – whatever dance you’ve had so far, you’ve done to a very high level. It was like an ocean, wave after wave of perfect flow”.
- Bruno Tonioli: “What a beauty – that had the feel of a love letter set to music. The chemistry between you two is tangible. Graceful, elegant, the under arm spins… you did it! That was almost picture perfect”
- Craig Revel Horwood: “I absolutely loved the story that continues all the way through the dance, fantastic control. You need to extend your top line”.
- Darcey Bussell: “For me, you create a perfect line in your upper body, the arch is divine. Now you can indulge in your lower legs so you can extend that.”
Both Abbey & Aljaz received a combined score of 35 with an 8 from Craig Revel Horwood, a 9 from Darcey Bussell, a 9 from Len Goodman and a 9 from Bruno Tonioli.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow evening at 7:20pm on BBC One.
