Former Bond Girl Fiona Fullerton took to the dance floor once again this weekend with her professional partner Anton Du Beke to dance the Paso Doble to Blur’s ‘Song 2’.
In her VT this week, Fiona said she absolutely loved the Charleston last week, but she’s aware of the timing issues. This week, Fiona is trying to find a new character as she tries to give Anton absolute hell. Anton surprised Fiona with a bucking bronco… not that it will help with the Paso this week.
Last week, the pair scored a respectable 28 as Len said that Fiona had some swivel action going on in the Charleston. Craig said the dance was too light, mind.
It all started off a little bit stiff on tonight’s show, but Fiona quickly got her act together and got into the zone, but the dance wasn’t exactly as fierce as it was supposed to be.
- Craig Revel Horwood: “I thought you had a good use of your skirt, your timing was absolutely precise. You did however lost your neck, you do need to pull your neck back. It was adequate but forgettable”.
- Darcey Bussell: “Fiona, you have to tell a story and your arms, you created very nice shapes with your arms. I’d have liked to see it come from the back though – it’s really important. Generally, I really liked what you did with it”.
- Len Goodman: “I must say, there was plenty of wafting going on, which I enjoyed. Funnily enough, I’m out of step with my colleagues, but I thought you could have given it more fire. What you did was very competent, but good job”.
- Bruno Tonioli: “Thank god I have to score her not you, Anton. I like your dark side, Fiona. I love it when you’re cranky with your skirt and you went for it. Your timing was actually better than his – you kept it going when something went wrong. Your lines were better and so was your timing”.
Both Fiona & Anton received a combined score of 26 with a 5 from Craig Revel Horwood, a 7 from Darcey Bussell, a 7 from Len Goodman and a 7 from Bruno Tonioli.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow evening at 7:20pm on BBC One.
