Cheryl Tiegs has become the latest star to be eliminated from hit US TV series Celebrity Apprentice!
The American model and actress failed to impress Donald Trump in the boardroom, after he had split them into gender based teams – men vs women – for this week’s task.
George Takei, Lou Ferrigno, Michael Andretti, Adam Carolla, Arsenio Hall, Clay Aiken, Dee Snider, Paul Teutul Sr, and Penn Jillette formed the male team and titled themselves ‘Unanimous’.
Debbie Gibson, Victoria Gotti, Aubrey O’Day, Cheryl Tiegs, Dayana Mendoza, Teresa Giudice, Lisa Lampanelli, Patricia Velasquez, and Tia Carrere formed the ladies group and called themselves ‘Forte’ and for the task, both teams had to make celebrity sandwiches for charity events.
There was the usual bickering, Clay didn’t like the frat boy attitude in his team, while Victoria Gotti got nasty and mocked Debbie Gibson as she tried to come up with a name for their team.
But ultimately it was Cheryl who paid, as when the ladies lost, it was generally accepted that she hadn’t contributed much during the challenge and we have to admit, she was quite boring and in the background throughout.
Project Manager Patricia Valesquez chose to bring Tiegs and mob princess Gotti into the boardroom and it was obvious that it was Cheryl’s time to go. Though, many of the team wanted rid of Victoria, as they were finding all the mob references a little intimidating.
Cheryl claimed that she was glad to go and said that the reality TV show wasn’t a ‘good fit’ for her and Donald wasn’t half as sharp and disparaging as he could have been, so her exit was a relatively pleasant one.
