If it were up to us, we would have the amazingly talented Jennifer Hudson perform on every single episode of The Voice UK. She has one of those voices that you just can’t get enough of.
So, you could probably imagine the surprise of the studio audience last night when during one of the advertisement breaks, Jennifer Hudson got herself a microphone and gave an impromptu performance of her brand new single ‘Remember Me’.
Just to make sure we weren’t actually missing out of the luxury of hearing Jennifer Hudson perform, the performance was uploaded to The Voice UK’s official YouTube page last night. If The Voice was still on the BBC then we wouldn’t have missed it, but having said that, if it was still on the BBC we’d probably not have JHUD on the panel. So, you know… you win some, you lose some.
The performance was a fun, silly, impromptu performance where Jennifer Hudson looked like she was having the time of her life entertaining the studio audience.
JHUD did of course take to the stage a couple of weeks ago to give a proper full-on, serious performance of her new single, and it was pretty much flawless.
Speaking of JHUD, she sadly had to wave goodbye to one of her contestants on The Voice UK last night when Jack Bruley didn’t manage to garner enough support from the public to make it through to the live Semi-Finals next weekend.
Four contestants left the competition last night, and it worked out quite evenly as each team lost one team member. Following on from last night’s show, Jamie Miller of Team JHUD is still the favourite to win at the bookies.
