The Voice UK: Who made it to the Semi-Finals? Jamie Miller, Michelle John &…

The Voice UK 2017: Jamie Miller

Last night The Voice UK unveiled the Semi-Finalists ahead of next weekend’s live Semi-Final, and not everybody was happy with the results…

The 12 quarter finalists were stripped down to just 8 ahead of next weekend’s Semi-Final, and fans seemed to be fuming over the fact that Tanya Lacey got sent home.

Each team took to the stage to perform one by one last night, and after each team had performed the coach for the respective team chose one contestant to take through to the Semi-Final. The fate of the other two was then down to the public, and Will’s decision did not go down too well with the viewers.

After his team performed he decided to take Jason Jones through to the Semi-Final even though viewers thought he was the weakest of the three contestants. It appeared Will’s reasoning was that because the other two were stronger than Jason, the public would get behind them and he’d have his full team go through to the next stage of the show. It didn’t work like that, unfortunately, and now Tanya has been cut.

16-year-old Sarah Morgan was also caught in the firing line after she had a disaster of a performance. She seemed to mumble her way through the track, she seemed very nervous, and at one point she even stumbled over her lyrics.

Jack Bruley was also cut from the show, but he was a bit of a risk for Team JHUD as he messed up his Knockout performance a couple of weeks ago, but Jennifer Hudson decided to give him a chance. Finally, Nadine McGhee completed the four acts who went home.

So, who actually made it through to the Semi-Finals?

  • Mo Adeniran (Team JHUD)
  • Jamie Miller (Team JHUD)
  • Michelle John (Team Will)
  • Jason Jones (Team Will)
  • Truly Ford (Team Gavin)
  • Max Vickers (Team Gavin)
  • Craig Ward (Team Tom)
  • Into The Ark (Team Tom)

It worked out quite evenly as each team lost a team member last night, meaning they all have two each left. But as it comes down to crunch time, who will make it to the all important finale?
