Next up this evening is 24-year-old Marc William and he’s been around the fame game before.
Marc actually went to a performing arts school when he was younger and in his year was Pixie Lott who has of course gone on to storm the charts in the past. Marc feels like this is his time to shine and to possibly top the charts.
“You can’t help but feel, ‘Is my time going to come?’ It’s a now or never situation and I hope it’s now,” he said in his VT.
Marc chose to give his rendition of Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love and he certainly put his own spin on proceedings.
The coaches couldn’t seem to make their mind up during Marc’s performance and in the end, none of the coaches turned around for him.
Tom told him: “You have an incredible voice. I thought Will might turn. One of the reasons I didn’t is that I have a lot of people on my team and I’m just waiting for something… but the way you sing is great”.
Will got up on stage to give his reasoning for not turning around…
“Here’s the reason I didn’t turn around… your outfit is dope. Now, imagine you weren’t wearing that necklace… it wouldn’t be as dope. Your singing was the same, you didn’t accessorise. Singing is no different to outfits or baking a cake. Imagine if you didn’t put candles on your cake when it’s your birthday, it wouldn’t be special.” – Did you follow that? I didn’t…
Kylie added: “That’s so annoying, and I don’t think it’s going to be the last we’re going to see of you”.
His mother didn’t look impressed AT ALL backstage… oops!
