The Walking Dead 7×07 ‘Sing Me A Song’ spoilers! WTAF is Michonne doing?! WATCH

by Lynn Rowlands

Tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead – which airs on Fox in the UK at 9pm – is entitled, ‘Swear’, and in it, we rejoin the drama to see how the surviving members of the group are doing.

However, American The Walking Dead fans have already seen ‘Swear’, and judging by the reaction on Twitter, it appears that it was rather underwhelming…

In fact, though the season 7 premiere was rightly lauded up the wazoo by fans and critics alike, things have, in terms of the action (arguably) gone downhill ever since.

Words such as ‘boring’ and ‘pointless’ have been bandied about regarding what’s happened in The Walking Dead since we saw Abraham and Glenn brutally slain by Negan…

And as mentioned above, last night’s episode was no different it seems. Of it, one naffed off viewer tweeted, “#Swear Easily the absolute worst Episode of #TWD of all time. Stop wasting our time with these filler episodes of minor characters!”

Another wrote, “This focus on different Characters every week, is making this season extremely boring & uneventful. pick it up guys.”

Oh dear…

I’ve yet to see ‘Swear’ so will hold off judging it until I have obviously, but I’m hoping those complaints online turn out to be overly harsh. And not least because we’re rapidly approaching the mid-season finale, and traditionally, the action seriously ramps up ahead of and during that episode…

But before that is next week’s show, which is entitled ‘Sing Me A Song’, and last night, AMC released two teaser trailers for the episode. Check them out…

AMC’s synopsis for the episode reads, “A deeper look at the Sanctuary and the world of the Saviors; members of Alexandria look for supplies.”

That obviously doesn’t tell us a whole lot, and nor do the teaser clips. However, we can’t help but wonder what the AF Michonne is doing in actually enticing the walkers?

What is she hoping to achieve? Does she think that their numbers will be significantly dented if she carries on putting them down one at a time?

If you reckon you know what gives with her, then please do share your theory with us using the comment box below.

In the meantime, when you’ve seen tonight’s The Walking Dead, we’d love to know what you thought of that too.
