Which band can Harry Styles just not get enough of? & Simon Cowell is cheesed off over ‘This Is Us’ Oscar snub

It seems like Harry Styles is flying solo quite a bit recently. He’s been off in America on his own penning songs, he’s been meeting up with Johnny Depp and now, he’s been attending Kodaline gigs on his own.

Well, we actually tell a big fat lie there as he was spotted with X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger at one of the gigs, but the rest of the 1D lads were nowhere to be seen…

The One Direction star was spotted watching the rockers on Monday evening, but then three days later, he was seen watching the band again at a different venue. But, this time he was with a certain Nicole Scherzinger.

Speaking to the Daily Star, lead singer of Kodaline Stephen Garrigan said that Harry turned up to the first show on Monday and went over to the band to say that he’s a big fan of them, and they ended up going out and having a few drinks.

“He’s such a cool dude. He’s got no ego about him and seems really down to earth. I thought he would be with a big security team and he just jumped into the car with us and headed out for drinks,” he added.

Meanwhile, it looks like Simon Cowell’s Oscar’s hope has been smashed to smithereens once again and he ain’t happy about it! *Clicks fingers in Z formation*

As fans of 1D will know, their movie ‘This is Us’ has been snubbed from all eligible Oscar nomination lists and Uncle Si is reportedly mega cheesed off about it.

Cowell thought that ‘This is Us’ would put the lads in line for an Oscar gong due to it smashing box office records around the world. But, there was absolutely no sight of it in the nominations lists when they were published.

There was also hope that ‘Best Song Ever’ would be nominated for Best Original Song at the prestigious awards ceremony, but it didn’t even make it into the top 75 list.

The Mirror reports that Cowell was more annoyed about the fact that half of the songs in the top 75 list haven’t even been heard of, and Best Song Ever took the world by storm.

A source told the paper: “Simon is disappointed. Some of the tracks on the list are virtually unknown”.

Oh dear… looks like it wasn’t the best song EVER then?
