Forget about Niall Horan! Ellie Goulding goes on to work on Hollywood film soundtrack!

Ellie Goulding refused to speak out about reports that she was dating Niall Horan last week and from the sound of things she doesn’t have much time on her hands for romance anyway.

The British singer was linked to the One Direction star recently after they were supposedly spotted kissing at V Fest earlier in August. The pair apparently locked lips while watching the Kings Of Leon perform and while Niall recently insisted he was single, Ellie hinted that there could be a romance starting between them.

Goulding won’t have much time for any relationship though, as she’s currently consumed by her career and as well as topping the UK singles chart with her new single ‘Burn’ she revealed that she’s also writing songs for a Hollywood film soundtrack.

The blonde beauty told the Daily Star that she is using the inspiration of stars such as Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake for her new tunes.

Ellie is set to break out her acoustic guitar for the numbers and explained:

“The story is based in North Carolina. It’s using Joni Mitchell, Bon Iver and Nick Drake as a guide soundtrack at the moment, but I’m writing new songs for the movie. This will maybe show more of the guitar side of what I do.”

Goulding won’t get much time to herself in the new year either, as this week she announced that she was adding three extra UK dates to her tour schedule, and is now planning to take to the stage in Nottingham, Liverpool and London arenas in March.

She promoted the tour on her Twitter account this week tweeting:

“This is the link to the pre-sale to buy tickets to the arena shows before they go on general sale See you there? x”

She added:

“Today I’m mostly thinking about how lucky I am to have you guys. Best fans ever. Big hugs x”
