One Direction’s Harry Styles returns to humble beginnings as a baker’s boy, where he was the best thing since sliced bread

One Direction heartthrob, Harry Styles has recently returned to his old job at a bakery where he used to make his dough before coming a worldwide superstar. His former manager claims he was the best worker since… sliced bread!

Aged 14, Styles worked in a bakery in his hometown of Holmes Chapel, raking it in at £6 an hour on a Saturday. He doesn’t breathe for less than £6-an-hour these days. However, he quit his job when he rose to fame on The X Factor.

He returned to his old job for the filming of upcoming One Direction movie, This Is Us. However, going back to his humble beginnings wasn’t too humble for the staff members as the outside of the shop was lined with security and management.

A source told Scottish newspaper, the Daily Record: “It was very funny because there were security, chauffeurs and minders outside, and there Harry was acting like he was still a baker’s boy earning what he earns now in a second”.

However, his former manager praised the One Direction band member, stating he was very polite when he was on the job.

He said: “He was the most polite member of staff we’ve ever had”. Hmm.. isn’t that what they all say? If he run a riot in there every day, I’m sure he’d have still been the best baker’s boy since, well… sliced bread!

Although, it seems not much has changed as the customers used to take a shine to him, apparently. These days, it’s just a tad more sinister than that.

Meanwhile, I wonder what the customers think of his rogue behaviour. He’s most recently been linked to Rod Stewart’s daughter, Kimberly, in which the crooner has seemingly laid down the law.
