Geri Halliwell has admitted that she enjoyed being booed during her time on The X Factor.
The former Spice Girl sat on the judging panel during June’s Glasgow auditions, as a replacement for pregnant judge Dannii Minogue. She quickly became unpopular with the audience as she said no to a number of popular acts, however she claimed that the loved playing the role of the villain.
As she was heckled, Geri enthused:
“I can’t believe I am getting booed. I am the villain! It is addictive being booed.
“I am learning to like it. It is a really nice sensation. I am more unpopular than Simon Cowell. He is just a bit sore. Deep down he is annoyed I nicked his boos.”
She then asked Simon:
“You kind of liked being booed, didn’t you?”
