X Factor contestant Treyc Cohen has insisted that she does not feel bitter after being voted out of the show in controversial circumstances on Sunday.
The 26-year-old from Tamworth was ejected from the competition when Dannii Minogue was the only judge to support her over Katie Waissel as both girls’ mentor, Cheryl Cole, abstained from voting. Had she favoured Treyc, the public vote would have come into play and the call center worker may have survived.
But speaking to X Magazine, Treyc forgave the Girls Aloud star: “How could she choose between her two acts? It wouldn’t be fair. I don’t blame her.
“What will be, will be. There’s no point looking back.”
Treyc also refused to criticise Katie and fellow contestant Wagner, both of whom have been the subject of intense media criticism in recent weeks.
“You know what, she’s a quirky girl. She’s a good girl, she really is. She’s got something different,” she said of Katie.
Of Wagner, she added: “People can’t be that angry because he’s still in the competition. Somebody’s voting for him, I don’t know who’s voting for him but he’s entertaining. He’s VERY entertaining.”
