We are finally there X Factor fans! On tonight’s show we found out the last of the singers who are through to the final 12 and who was sent home and to make things a bit easier for you all, we’ve brought all the details together for you on one handy page!

It has been a tense and drama filled few episodes as Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh took the hot-seats and listened to their final 24 acts perform, for what was the last time for some.

Sharon was joined by Robbie Williams in LA as she listened to Sam Bailey, Lorna Simpson, Joseph Whelan, Zoe Devlin, Shelley Smith and Andrea Magee and the pair had some difficulty when trying to decide which three were finished in the competition.

Louis Walsh had even more help and he was assisted in St Tropez by Sinitta, Nicole Appleton and Shane Filan as he tried to work out whether or not he wanted to keep Sam Callahan, Paul Akister, Giles Potter, Nicholas McDonald, Ryan Mathie and Luke Friend for the live shows. Many hands does not make light work though, because the four stars couldn’t agree on who they wanted to see in the final 12 and who should go home.

In the end Sharon chose to save Sam Bailey after she wowed with her emotional Whitney Houston tune, Lorna Simpson – under the condition that she inject some more charisma to future performances – and Shelley Smith, mostly because she loved her sexy and saucy rendition of Girl On Fire.

Louis Walsh went predictable for his final three and picked Sam Callahan – mostly because he looked like a pop star -, Nicholas McDonald because the gorgeous young Scot makes everyone cry and Luke Friend, whose marketable image and memorable voice are sure to make him a star.

Tonight Gary Barlow was seen listening to the last of his groups and he and Olly Murs decided that they wanted to see Kingsland Road through, after their smooth performance of Dance With Me Tonight. They also threw their weight behind brand new girl group Miss Dynamix, after their version of Pure Shores and the boys of Rough Copy, who left one member behind as they performed in New York.

Nicole Scherzinger was joined by Mary J Blige and they decided to award final 12 places to Abi Alton, Hannah Barrett and Tamera Foster, causing controversy when they let Jade Richards, Melanie McCabe and Relley Clarke go home.

Sending paul home louis was the biggest mistake x-factor has ever made, you’ve chosen all pretty boys you can try and puppet over talent, paul was by far the best singer out of your entire category and you let him go, all on the strength that he wasn’t pretty enough for you, well me and my family think he is gorgeous and as for his astounding voice, i would of brought his album tomorrow. louis you suck big time and thats why your never a winner!!!!!!
