X Factor 2013: Olly Murs wants Sharon Osbourne back too! #xfactorbringbackmrso!

Ever since it was first reported that The X Factor was going to be subjected to an overhaul this year – given the relatively poor viewer ratings in the last series – speculation has been rife about which judges would stay on the show, and which would go…

And of course, it was then rumoured that Tulisa was most likely to be axed and that former judge Sharon Osbourne was in pole position to take over from her…

Since then, many reports have suggested that it’s true that Tulisa has been given the heave-ho, however as we reported recently, Simon Cowell was apparently having trouble to decide whether to bring back Mrs O or give former guest judge Mel B the full-time gig.

Based on what our readers have had to say, it seems the majority of you – me included – want Sharon back, and last week, Nicole Scherzinger threw her weight (all 2 stone of it) behind the campaign to bring back the fabulous Mrs O.

And today, Xtra Factor co-host Olly Murs – who appeared alongside Sharon in last night’s Comic Relief skit depicting Simon Cowell marrying himself – has done the same, remarking, “I love Sharon Osbourne – it would be great to have her back…

“It would be great to have her and another girl on the panel but I’m not too sure who.”

However, it’s also been rumoured that Gary Barlow’s Take That band mate and X Factor favourite Robbie Williams could also be in the running for a judging job, and of that, Olly told Huffington Post, “Definitely Robbie and Gary Barlow though – that would be pretty cool.”

But of the rumours that he won’t be returning to Xtra Factor in the new series, Olly remained coy, saying only, “We’ll see what happens. Never say never.”

He added, “I’ve always sat on the fence – it looks unlikely but you never know what might happen.

“I think things will get confirmed in the next month or so as auditions will start in the next few months.”

I can’t wait to officially hear who’s off the judging panel and who’s going to be on it, and as long as one of them IS Mrs O, I’ll be a happy X Factor bunny! Who would be your X Factor judging dream team?

For now, here’s a look at Olly in action on Xtra Factor…
