Ahead of The X Factor 2017, Simon Cowell has revealed who will be sitting on the all-important judging panel.
Simon confirmed the line-up ahead of the big premiere of Britain’s Got Talent this weekend, admitting that we won’t be seeing much change when it comes to the panel.
Speaking to The Sun this week, Simon revealed that he will be joined by Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh when The X Factor returns this summer, meaning the judging panel will more than likely be staying the same as last year.
“I don’t think for the moment we’d want to make any changes,” Cowell said when asked about series 14 of the ITV singing show, set to begin airing in August.
“It worked on X Factor last year,” the judge added, admitting that we could see the foursome together for a while to come after Simon Cowell compared The X Factor judging panel to Britain’s Got Talent, which has kept the panel the same for a while now.
“[The panels] works really well,” he said of both ITV talent shows.
It’s though that host Dermot O’Leary will also be returning to The X Factor this year.
Simon’s confession that he’ll be sticking with Sharon, Nicole and Louis comes shortly after he revealed that he has plans to one day work with Cheryl again after she became the nation’s sweetheart following her appearance on the talent show.
“Once she’s settled she’s going to want to be working again and I enjoy working with Cheryl,” Cowell said of the former Girls Aloud star who recently welcomed a baby boy with Liam Payne. “She is good.”
