X Factor final duets: Saara Aalto & Adam Lambert, 5 After Midnight & WHO!?

The X factor final hits our screen this weekend and this morning, duet partners for Saara Aalto, Matt Terry and 5 After Midnight have been revealed!

It was reported for a while that Sam Smith would be singing with Nicole Scherzinger’s last boy, but it turns out that someone got their wires crossed.

Sam will be performing on Saturday night, but on his own. Also on the bill for the grand finale are X Factor winners Little Mix, who have stormed the charts with their third album recently.

However, what everyone wants to know this week is which celebrities will be taking on the big duets. The Sun has revealed that Nicole was a little sneaky when she chose Matt Terry’s partner.

Simon Cowell had lined up James Arthur to perform with his girl, Emily Middlemas in the last X Factor weekend of the year. However when she was eliminated on Sunday, Scherzinger called in a few favours for Matt.

It has also been revealed that Saara Aalto also has her duet sorted and that she will be singing with her own American Idol, Adam Lambert.

But the real triumph this year goes to Louis Walsh we think. He has managed to land The Weeknd to sing with 5 After Midnight. It was previously reported that they would perform with Little Mix, but this seems like a much better idea. Two groups on the stage at the same time could be a little much!

Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that Honey G WILL be back for one final group performance, after being eliminated from the competition two weeks ago.

What do you think of this year’s lineup? Decent or not? Leave your comments below…

Thrilled that Adam will be there. He is fabulous with duets, always lets his partner shine, especially in situations like this. Those of you who haven’t seen/heard him do Titanium on Idol finale with one of contestants, in for a treat.

The smart choice is Adam Lambert and Saara really wanted to sing with him. What better way to raise a profile for Saara in the USA. Everything says international success for Saara.

The Weekend is a cool choice for 5 am.

But who is Matt singing with? James Arthur has said he is not doing it.

We have had two Honey G free weeks and it has finally been back to a singing competition (and a much better show for it) without vacuous Honey G hype dominating everything. Who cares if she is doing a ten second spot in a finalist group shin dig that she will have to mime to for the most part? The final is not about her.

Nicole will probably sing with him and try to steal the limelight like she did with Sam !

Can’t wait for Saara and Adam Lambert’s performance on Saturday. Two of my favourite people singing together, it’s going to be the best final ever! Oh God I hope she wins. I’m so exited.
