As we reported last week, One Direction star Zayn Malik decided to reactivate his Twitter account recently, and this weekend, he used his page to thank fans for their support during the traumatic time he’s had after waitress and stripper Courtney Webb claimed she’s slept with Zayn.

Zayn, who is of course dating Perrie Edwards, tweeted, “Hi everyone, just a quick message to say I love all you guys, without your support I don’t know what I’d do 🙂 x”

However, while Zayn’s managing to deal pretty well with all the negative press about him, the same can perhaps not be said of his mate Justin Bieber, who’s apparently rather sick of reading rumours about himself on the ‘net.

MTV report, “The pop megastar was provoked into his outburst by a photo on US gossip site TMZ which apparently showed him with a bottle of justin bieber zayn malik niall horancodeine cough syrup – used as a recreational drug in the US and known as ‘sizzurp’.”

Justin wrote, “Some of these rumours about me are getting a little out of control now. dont believe the bs.

“gonna focus on the positive. i understand that rumours come with the territory but im gonna stay me.

“focus on the music. u wanna know what im about…it is all right there. #BELIEVEacoustic.” (sic)

But of course, cough syrup-gate isn’t the only scandal dogging Bieber right now as in just a couple of weeks, he’s been accused of groping a fan – when a picture of him apparently touching a girl’s boob surfaced – and he’s been angered by pictures of him smoking turning up in the media.

But regardless of the veracity of rumours about Justin or the 1D lads, as we reported earlier, it does seem as though these princes of pop are having trouble holding onto their collective ‘Disney’ images doesn’t it?

Here’s a recent entertainment news report about Justin…
